Bridgeport

The main attraction of the Bridgeport area is the western flavor. Local architecture bears the signature of the pioneers who settled here over a hundred years ago. The vast rangelands allow one to get into wide open spaces, just as in the "old days." Events such as the Bridgeport Rodeos allow one to experience life in the old west. Recreation in the area includes fishing for HUGE Trout, hiking to pristine high alpine settings, biking, climbing and back country skiing among many others.
